Our Facilities include:
Radiation Bunkers: Two dedicated Cockcroft Institute bunkers are currently being built at STFC’s Daresbury Laboratory (available Spring 22). These bunkers will be available for use for collaborative research on new accelerator applications.
Linac Test Facility: can be used to investigate accelerator use in a range of applications including security scanning, radiotherapy and water treatment.
Versatile Electron Linear Accelerator (VELA): test facility capable of delivering high quality electron beam. Capability for development and qualification of advanced accelerator systems.
