The International Organizing Committee has just awarded the organization of the 30th LINAC conference in 2020 to the Cockcroft Institute. The bi-annual LINAC conference is the main gathering for the world-wide community of linear accelerator specialists. It provides a unique opportunity to hear about the latest advances of projects and developments concerning hadron and lepton linacs, as well as their applications. The conference typically gets more than 400 attendees. The Liverpool ACC is being considered as venue.
Peter McIntosh (ASTeC) will chair the local organizing committee and Dr Graeme Burt (Lancaster University) will chair the scientific programme committee.
