The Cockcroft Institute offers a vibrant environment for cutting edge R&D into the science and technology of particle accelerators. For many years the institute has helped researchers to secure prestigious Fellowships that enable them to realise ambitious research programmes with one of our stakeholder universities or STFC/ASTeC.
We currently invite expressions of interest for two prestigious Fellowships:
- STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowships which offer support over 5 years for early-career researchers and allow them to establish an independent research programme;
- Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships which provide support for two years and usually involve joining an established research group.
The deadline for both schemes is in September and we would like to invite anyone interested to submit their expressions of interest, research outline and CV to us by 19th August 2018.
