Professor Kurokawa is currently the General head of Divisions of the Accelerator Laboratory at KEK, Tsukuba. In early 1990's, he was in charge of TRISTAN and also led the construction of KEKB , which is an asymmetric-energy, two-ring, electron-positron collider for B-physics . He is currently the chair of the International Linear Collider project's steering committee.
