Intra Beam Scattering Mini Workshop
Cockcroft Institute, Daresbury, UK. Tuesday, 28th - Wednesday, 29th August 2007
Introduction
The workshop aims to get a fresh look at the Intra-Beam interactions with emphasis on effects relevant for high brightness beams in synchrotron radiation facilities and damping rings for linear colliders. Contributions will be devoted to the most recent developments and questions in:
- the status of IBS theory and available measurement data
- new approaches to compute phase space distribution and beam tails for IBS dominated beams
- IBS with polarized beams
- IBS at very low beam energies and high beam brightness
- diagnostic systems for IBS measurement
- lattice design for IBS dominated beams

There is a registration fee of £120.
The fee includes lunches and refreshments during the workshop, the workshop
dinner at the Daresbury Park Hotel on Tuesday 28th August and transport between
the hotels and the Cockcroft Institute.
